The guide, Accessible Transportation Options, is a comprehensive listing of public and private and transportation in the Washington Metropolitan Region, State of Maryland, and beyond.
Now, finding information about transportation services for seniors and people with disabilities is easier than ever. The directory provides information about options that are available through Metro and the local jurisdictions and includes a comprehensive listing of public transportation options available in Washington, DC, Maryland (the regions of Montgomery, Prince George's, Anne Arundel and Baltimore, Baltimore City and Central Maryland) and Virginia (the counties of Arlington and Fairfax, and the cities of Alexandria, Fairfax and Falls Church).
Most of the transit services listed in the directory offer discounted fares to make using public transportation more affordable. The directory is compiled by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority's Office of ADA Programs.
For more information, please call the specific transit service provider directly or go online to its website.
