    Friday, June 9, 2023

On or about Friday, June 9, the county Department of Transportation will permanently close the Woodmont Avenue parking lot at 8009 Woodmont Avenue to make way for redevelopment that will include surrounding parcels of land. Plans call for a multifamily building with approximately 440 units and 20,000 square feet of commercial space.

The Woodmont Avenue parking lot has 37 short-term spaces and two ADA spaces. Other short-term parking is available at the Woodmont-Rugby parking garage and the St. Elmo and Cordell Avenue parking lots. An interactive parking map is here.
