Developers, the business community and residents are invited to attend the Bethesda Unified Mobility Program (BUMP) open house on Thursday, September 26, 7-9 pm, at the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Regional Services Center (4805 Edgemoor Lane, Bethesda).
BUMP is a proposed fee structure for new development that identifies costs for new transportation infrastructure necessary to serve the 2017 Bethesda Downtown Plan. The funds raised by the fee would be exclusively for use on Bethesda projects.
At the open house, a representative of Montgomery County Department of Transportation will detail the anticipated projects to serve Bethesda over the next 20 years, how BUMP is likely to operate and next steps.
