Bike to Work Day 2010 - Success!
With beautiful morning weather, the Bike to Work Day pit stop in Bethesda enjoyed a HUGE turnout. More than 480 people cycled to the event at Reed Street in downtown Bethesda, nearly 40% more than last year. Luckily, we had more raffle prizes than ever before, so a lot of people biked away happy!
We were pleased to be joined by the following dignitaries at our pit stop:
- Delegate Susan Lee
- Montgomery County Councilman Roger Berliner
- Jahantab Siddiqui of Senator Mikulski’s office
- Karen McManus of Congressman Van Hollen's office
- Deputy Secretary Harold Bartlett, Maryland Department of Transportation
And, of course, our emcee, Delegate Bill Frick!
