    From the Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT), Transit Services Division:

    The public will have a chance to comment on a series of proposed services for Ride On routes at the following public forums, presented by Montgomery County Department of Transportation, Transit Services Division to be held on:

    These forums will end after the last registered speaker. If the forum is canceled due to inclement weather, a public forum will be held on March 14, 2017.
     
    Ride On is expanding its services by proposing a new service in the Cabin Branch Community as well as restructuring its current services to meet the demands of the Clarksburg community.  Ride On is also expanding its services in the Mid-County region to address the needs of the residents who reside in the Connecticut Avenue Estates and Poplar Run communities.  Residents along all of these roads and surrounding areas are invited to share your interests in these new services.  Please visit our website to obtain additional information regarding these public forums.  You will have three (3) minutes to speak if you submit your request to speak in advance.
     
    In keeping with operating procedures for service changes, Ride On conducts public forums to solicit comments from concerned parties prior to implementation when a new route is proposed.
     
    Individuals and representatives of organizations who wish to speak at the public forum are requested to provide in writing their name, home address, telephone number, e-mail address, and organization to:

    Those wishing to speak must provide such information by three (3) days before the forum.  Those who have signed up to speak must bring two printed copies of their testimony for the record.
     
    Sign and non-English language translation services will be provided upon request by emailing
    mcdot.rideonpublicforums@montgomerycountymd.gov no later than three (3) days before the forum.
     
    Additionally, comments on the proposed new route may be submitted in writing, by email, or by fax by March 16, 2017 to:

    Large print format or information in other languages is available upon request with five (5) business days of notice. All comments, including alternatives, will be considered before any changes are finalized.
